I'm establishing a base here, in the attempt to nudge fandom as a whole to DW and in general back to this style of fandom. If fandom jumps in another direction, which it likely will, I'll probably follow. But I'll be bitter about it.

So, *wave*. I'm Manya, aka thebluejay on Ao3, pilfered-words on Tumblr, until recently bluejayfic on Tumblr, before that bluejayfic on LJ and thebluejay on FF.net, before that a_blue_jay on LJ but that wasn't a fandom journal.

UPD 12/16/2018: I also have a pillowfort, empty for now while I figure it out: pilfered-words.

Yeah, I tried to make the namechange visible, but tumblr doesn't exactly let you have a sticky post at the top.

"We'll see what develops" is more or less where I am too. DW seems pretty dead for now, though I guess there's living corners somewhere.

The cynical part of me says that fandom will probably try to jump to pillowfort, discover that pillowfort isn't ready for that number of people, and then go ...elsewhere, hopefully not twitter. Dear lord, I hope it's not twitter. It can't be twitter, right? People need to post long chunks of text. It's not just me?

I would definitely prefer it not be twitter, but there are worse options than twitter. It could be facebook! (If it's facebook I'm not going.)
