My sister and I watched episodes 5x02 and 5x03 of Leverage tonight, and… meh. The Blue Line Job, especially, was kinda boring. Too much hockey, maybe? The First Contact Job, on the other hand, was a little painful to watch. I’m generally not fond of “the team makes the mark look crazy” episodes.
One thing I did like was Parker starting to do what Nate does. At least, knowing how the season ends, it’s obvious that’s what’s happening. I wonder if it’s less obvious for an unspoiled viewer? I’ll have to figure out if S. has caught on.
I’ve maybe mentioned before that my sister and I watch Leverage together when it’s just the two of us. (We also read LotR, or rather, I read it to her. We alternate, one time reading, one time watching.)
Today, we watched the Ho Ho Ho Job, which is decidedly not my favorite. It’s not bad, I suppose, but it’s kind of boring, plotwise. There are some great character moments, though.
