(Continuing conversation about the absence of a Squire's Tales fandom)
Yeah, there’s like… 20 on ff.net. Sigh.

Squire’s Tales is one of those fandoms that I forget about for months, sometimes years at a time, and then rediscover a burning passion for. It wasn’t my first introduction to Arthurian legend, but I think it was the one that stuck the most.
Especially the character interpretations. Somewhere in my hindbrain, there is a deep conviction that Morgan le Fay is actually friendly to Arthur, that Lancelot and Guinevere’s love isn’t all that great, and that Gawain is objectively the best of the Knights of the Round Table. So whenever I encounter different interpretations, it feels kind of like reading AU fanfic.
